no sorry. these guys do not know each other.

i was just saying that i could appreciate a 13b in a 240 and was wondering why this pic meets with such close-minded anger...
not closed minded or anger, but see after all that work how much faster/better is it gonna be?

and imo..

as your subject title implies....

i surely doubt an rx7 guy sees the light...

if the light equates to removing its unique powerplant...

More like: "An Rx7 guy, sees the light and looses his sight!!!" WTF was he thinking, Sorry S13, you're my bro and all, but that's just wrong. When you take away the Doritos, an FD looses it's heart.

Can I get a moment of silence for that UN-BREAKABLE, and TOTALY RELIABLE FD.

topic should read:

"guy with nissan motor realizes his nissan is ugly and finds the most beautiful car to slap his piston punching engine into, doing so kills the beauty of said car, children and adults mourn the loss of yet another true FD"

hey thats my boys car. his name is shaun and he owns a performance shop here in tallahassee called NRG or Upgrade depending on who you ask.. i just got back on my midtour from korea and took a look . all i can say is NICE. he is fitting the turbo right now and should have it running in about a week or two. i looked at his motor mounts and hes going solid mounts. i bet that ******* gonna shake his fillings loose. he is going to do my 7 in a few weeks. No im not going with the nissan motor but am getting a rebuild done by crisspeed in miami and a single turbo w/ a haltech. all i can say is that this **** is gonna be cool because who else in the usa or **** in the world owns an rx-7 with a nissan motor in it?? i have never seen it. just on a side note i cant stand it when people get all retarded over the rotoray engine. im come on to say that its no longer and rx-7 because the engines changed is ******* narrow minded and from some one who lacks vision. maybe people should stop hating and take it for what it is. a unique car that no one else has.

i just noticed the why spend all that money question. well i know that he sold his old set up for a certin amount of money and now he has this one. all i can say is that he still hasnt spent half the cash he made on his old motor. it cost a lot less than you think. not only that he is a great mechanic and does all the work himself so labor is free and so is the construction of the motor mounts and any other custom things he needs to make it work. when you own your own shop and have the resources to do it. why wouldnt you?
