I need to take a picture of my RX-7 library to show the world what a dork I truly am. Every year I probably bring back about 6~8 RX-7 specific books/magazines/videos to add to the bookcase. I have almost every RX-7 book in English except for that steaming pile of crap (the RX7 performance book) and the new one that just came out. It's $50 at Borders so I think I'll pass on it for now.
do you have the holy grail? the rotary engine book by kenichi yamamoto?

The official title of the FD book by Yamaguchi is

RX-7

The Mazda RX-7:Mazda's Legendary Sports Car

Plus: Racing and Winning - Le Mans and GTO Championship, 1991

Currently out of print. I found mine by shopping through used book outlets. Finally found one on Borders in store system. There's usually a few on Amazon too. But, when buying through Borders, it gets delivered to the store you ordered it at, and you can go inspect it before you buy.

I found the FC book on eBay for $28. That was a steal. Paid around $50 for the FD book.

Here's a list of just my RX-7 books. This doesn't include the 200# of car magazines and books I have. I can't even fit them all in one bookcase.

The ones in English (mostly useless info in them for the most part) -

RX-7 : The new Mazda RX-7 and Mazda Rotary Engine Sports Car (by J. Yamaguchi) (it's the FC one)

RX-7 - The Mazda RX-7 : Mazda's Legendary Sports Car (by J. yamaguchi and J. Dinkel) (it's the FD one)

Sports Car Color History : Mazda RX-7 (by J. Matras)

Haynes Mazda RX-7 '86 thru '91 (hey, it was $3 at Half Price Books)

The ones in Japanese (damn good info in them, stuff you'll never find in the English language) -

HyperRev Vol. 6 (Mazda RX-7 #1)

HyperRev Vol. 23 (Mazda RX-7 #2)

HyperRev Vol. 54 (Mazda RX-7 #3)

HyperRev Vol. 72 (Mazda RX-7 #4)

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2000 No.007

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2001 No.009

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2001 No.010

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2001 No.011

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2002 No.013

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2002 No.015

HyperRev RX-7 Magazine 2002 No.016

CarBoy Mazda RX-7 Tuning Bible FD3S & FC3S #2 (Tuning Bible Series vol.9)

RX-7 Owners Book FC3S/FD3S

RE Rotary Magazine 2002 Vol. 03

Mazda RX-7 FC3S & FD3S Street Perfect Tuning vol. 2

It's more than just a collection, it's a cry for help.

Well, I've printed out the entire FSM for my car. Does that count? Printed out using the double-sided printer at work. That was a lot of pages.

I bought the service manual and printed out the parts catalog. That was a lot of pages, but it comes in handy when I'm looking something up and I'm not near the .pdf files on the computer.

My "English" rotary collection is bigger than yours.

In addition to what you have I have

RX-7 Mazda's Rotary Engine Sports Car by Brian Long

RX-7 Gold Portfolio 1978-1991 (collection of magazine articles into a book - it's by Brooklands Books, they make some good stuff)

and that crappy Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook
