I was flipping through a japanese rotary magazine and remembered a discussion on the new rx7... and so i found this... they say that this is suppose to be the new rx7, after the rx8. I don't know if anyone posted an image but here it is...

 

btw, they're calling it the rx01

 

The RX-01 was a concept car back in the mid 90s. I believe that was when the RENESIS was first introduced.

 

well, from what I can tell from the magazine... the rx01 is suppose to be the next 7... at least that's what they're calling it..

 

I surely hope not, that thing's ugly as sin.

 

That is one nasty looking car! I would say its a sin!

 

Actually, somewhere floating around there is a video of the car in action. It was a 90's concept vehicle, and I really liked the looks of it on the video. 100 times better than 99% of the artists conceptions I've seen on the next RX7.

 

yeah i have that video somewhere, that brit takes it out. i also liked it in the video. the only thing i could see being a problem for my tastes is the hole between the front bumper and the engine compartment. interior was very unique. i will see if i can dig it up.

Thats an old concept, not the sequel to the rx7 or rx8.................
