Rx-8 Vs. Rx-7
Hmmmmm.....that 280 projected horsepower sounds real familiar like I hear Mazda project it for another car when it was in its conceptual stages.....I'll be damned if I can remember which car.
BTW 280 hp will probably end up being 250 then 247 then 239 when its really 220.

Sleek lights all the way
dunno. it just seems like a 7 wouldn't be a seven without the traditional lights.. i mean, i can see them coming out with a conversion kit for the lights so you can pick; of all the changes mazda looks like it might be makin to the 7, i think popup lights would be more appropriate..
and the vette heritage of popups
vettes didn't have popups back in the 50's did they ?

thats probably why the miata now has normal headlights as well.
kevin.
The flipout lights in Corvettes started with the 2nd generation, C2. I think the change is mostly because of mechanical falures, you can design it well, but those things have to flip out a lot, and it's not something that you're allowed to have fail on you.
