You know this guy better than anyone else here. If you trust him, go for it. But if you think there's any chance he'll get drunk and go racing....

im with redt2 on this. If he is a good firend, and you trust him not to crash ... you have to realize he is going to atleast go fast a few times in it, thats obviously why he wants it, to impress her. But that is alot of stuff for 1 night. And you can always follow him around in the truck.. lol

I personally only trust 1 person with my car, and that person has never even driven my car.. i have just driven with him and i know how he drives. Thats iluvmy88. I think out of all of my friends i am the most experienced, and better driver ... with an exception of kraig. I think hes a better driver by far, and since he owns an rx7 i know he knows how to drive it and how to treat it. If this guy doesnt know anything about rx7s or sports cars in general, it might be a bad idea. Newbies + rwd + fast = crash ... thats just logic.

So if you trust him, do it.. if not, dont.

If he is going to sign that he is liable for everything, and you trust him a lot!!!!! then it would be worth thinking about!

But if you are worried about it now, think about how worried you will be all night while he is gone with it. I mean you are gonna be a nervous wreck until he brings it back safe and sound!!!

I might just have him call me whenever he gets to each place..yea that sounds good (just to make sure).

He understands what I mean when I told him that's a really steep order and said he would understand if I said no.

I'm seriously thinking about going for it though.

The truck he's leaving with me is a 86 toyota jacked up with 33" tires and a small block 350 conversion. I'm pretty sure it's fast just not real fast. He's never let anyone borrow it either.

I told him that if I did let him borrow it... I'd expect him like any normal person to naturally want to stomp the gas...he said yea I'm pretty sure I would.

So I told him don't go fast around turns, slick roads, blah blah blah.

I'm just going to miss my car.

damn, I'd go for it

just go over the car with him ahead of time, and when you get it back. if anything is wrong, just make him pay for it

if you have access to this, it would be cool: my boss has a gps that tracks everywhere it's been, and records its top speed (among other things)

just stick it under the seat, and check it out the next day! (I plan on doing this when my kid reaches driving age...but don't tell him I said so)
