i ordered a greddy td06 kit from rotor motorsports saturday a week ago, they call me back on monday (still last week) and the kit is 4 weeks out from japan, so ive got to go with the hks t04e kit and they say that it shipped the same day. ok, hks instead of greddy, and it ships the same day, great.

well come next monday (today), still no kit, i call them and its not shipping from hks until thursday. so now im pissed cause i wont see it until next week. so until then im stuck with a dead car in my garage.

im thinking about canceling this thing and just finding one that someone has in stock somewhere

none of this would really bother me if it were not for the fact that ive been out of transportation since i ordered it

Thats just how it goes man. Theres always problems with backorders, main distributors telling the local dealers that parts will be in and then they never arrive. I once waited for an exhaust coming directly from apexi for 5 months, and a commander for the powerfc for 7 months before I decided to sell it and buy a haltech. I'd just wait it out, it will come in and you'll be happy.

This is the second or third complaint from that company I have heard on this forum...

Why not get a hybrid made?We can get them built around here for about

4-500$ If you have a Turbo already..

This happens alot. It's usually not the store(I.E. rotormotorsports), but their supplier or the manufacturer itself. The problem is that theese big manufacturers really don't care.

if the problem is with the distributor, then i cant complain about rotormotorsports, as theyve been pretty good on the phone. im just relating my experience. its actualy not likely id even be able to get another turbo any sooner at this point, considering most people dont stock them b/c they are too expensive to just jave sitting around on the shelf.

sigh

i had this happen when dealing directly with XS engineering. i ordered an xs t04s kit. they said in stock!! after i pay for it. you will have it an around a month we can't guarantee that though!!!! i was sooo pissed. cancelled the order and got a greddy T78 cause it was in stock. unfortunately stores tell the customer what they are told, backorders suck and manufacturers like to take their filling orders for stupid US people

I going through the same thing(diff. company/part). Don't feel bad. There is nothing Rotormotorsports can do until they get your kit. I know it sucks but like 94touring said this how it goes. If you want to do something to make yourself feel better just call the manufacturer and bitch at them.
