wow no one stepped up, well here goes.

They are similar but different plus rotary revolution was a wash out.

Had the weather been better in Indy, RR would have it hands down!

Rotorfest is great for the day, but RR is 2.5 days of living in a rotary community, the hotel is full of rotorheads. You drive down any road within 10 miles and you WILL see another rotary vehicle that WILL know what kind of engine is in his car. Rotorfest is impressive but lack the activities that RR would have provided rain excluding. For the price...rotorfest is a hell of alot more affordable though, even though that has somehow become an argument . RFest is closer, and a local tradition, it is guys and girls you live near so you may meet up with them later.

Honestly I like going to both but I would like to see more of this area represented at RR next year because the caravan from my house had a blast on the 10 hour trip there. Really causes some bonding as you block traffic and get run off the road and pulled over by cops (twice) and get attacket by semi's and get cool walkie talkie nick names.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't have missed either one for the world!
