Name the shop. Since you already paid up front, something that isn't a good idea but oh well, you might as well either chalk up a loss or take him to court.

I am a little pissed right now about a famous rotary performance shop screwing me over with my car. My car has been there for 14 months and I keep hearing lame excuses. The owner stated to me it will take two weeks to fix my car. What is the hold up???? I don't want to put names. But if you are reading this forum, finish fixing my !@#$-ing car.

I can't understand WTF can keep a person to finish a paying customer's vehicle. Lie to him and blatantly blowing me off, "I am busy, two more weeks, I am having problems fixing the previous car, etc."

Shop owner: How can you live with yourself?

My car never sat outside but yet, it is outside getting all the elements.... My freakin $4000 paint job is getting torn up because somebody doesn't give a hoot about fixing my car.

This kind of crap makes me want to give up the rotary thing. I don't think the honda, nissan, or toyota crowd gets screwed over like me.

Guys and gals, what do you think about that??????

I think u re dumb for leaving it there for that long. You dunno if they stealing ure parts. And to be messing up ure paint job, i woulda been got my car outta there

Honestly, I think this is the 3rd or 4th post Ive responded to chewing people out who pre-pay for a bunch of work. WHY???? Are you that gullible? If you HADNT paid them anything, you could just take your car and go. And if you HADNT paid them anything they would have a bigger incentive to work on it (they want your money!) But since they already have your money, the incentive is gone.

PLEASE PLEASE people!!! DO NOT PREPAY A DIME FOR WORK ON YOUR VEHICLES! If the shop is in such dire straits that they need cash to even get started fixing your car, you need to seriously ask yourself if this is who you want working on your car....

I sound like broken record!

I guess I am the dumb *** for leaving it there so long. I was referred to him by many people and have seen his work on other cars. I just can't believe it is happening to me and only me.

I guess I was trying to believe the BS excuses for why is it taking so long.

My car is not exactly local to me and takes roughly between gas and tolls about $300 round trip. Now it looks like I will have to spend another $300 just to pickup and incomplete car.

It better be in the same shape it was or else.

I learned that the hard way. If I was to name him right now, I guarantee all of you would be surprised on who it is.

I think that you should name it so that we all know who not to take our cars too.

Maybe that is just me though.
