Well, I'm no expert, but I used to own a 1973 Super Beetle. The motor in question is nicely dressed up, but it ain't no rotary. It's a very bug-like Horizontally Opposed 4-banger with what is that, a Dellorto carb?

I think he was referring to the rotor shaped header flange.





Here's the lowdown on the states:

Ohio sucks...the only time I'm near there these days is travelling over at 30K feet.

Iowa sucks...I live here and it smells like pig ****.

Idaho...well, I don't eat potatoes, so who cares?

That's off to the left of us...I haven't been there in many years, so I can't tell you if it still sucks. I liked the zoo when I was 8.
