i think i will leave it open for a few more mins.



i should have an rx to drive to the meet its on nov 3rd. i called ito today. car should be finished up tomorrow. then just needs dyno tuning. if nothing else the TII will be done as long as i go get jim's engine saturday. if something bad happens i can always drive the miata to the meet .... its slow but i can take turns fast

There is hard core Miata people out there, they are even selling some special Miata for SCCA now arent they? I can deliver the engine to make sure you are ready

really ? hmmmmm. i live 5mins from the NJ BBQ. if i get the engine soon. it will only take me a few hours to swap them. i'm sort of good at swapping TII engines now....



pm me if you are gonna be around NJ. i'll pay you for gas and let you drive my car which ever one goes to the meet. even the FD :bigthumg:



i want to get the engine but i'm sorta scared the van won't make it their and back LOL. i mean its ok for the 1mile trip to work and back. i don't really trust it going THAT far. with my luck it will crap out on the way there LOL

What the hell would I be in Jersey for, lol. That engine will fit in the trunk of a car, or a station wagon, you will need a Platnium card to payfor the gas for that thing to get here. I cannot remember how far it was to the BBQ? What does mapquest say it is?

i did a mapquest from jim's house to my house. it was 70 miles. it would fit in a car but it won't fit in a miata. i can't take the new van. i don't want to get it dirty. it only has 3k miles on it. lemme know

If it makes you feel any better, Jims motor is plastic wrapped. You could always put it in a bag as well, they sell Zip Lock bags that can fit that motor in pep boys

i'm paranoid but what about my parents. yeah here take the new van to go get an engine in long island that you've never been there before. they got worried when i drove the new van to work a mile away LOL



i won't even dare ask to borrow it..... if anything happens to it. i am DEAD!! LOL
