So you're saying that advancing from making 100hp at of 1.0 liter, to 150hp out of 1.3 liters, to 200hp out of a 1.3 liter, to getting 255hp out of a 1.3 liter is not advancement? I fail to see that.

and all the while making reliability 1000x worse... rotaries are ****....how about not blowing up at the track for once..

Hmm no response, so you admit that rotaries are capable of making over 1000hp that you are arrogant and that you are a hypocrit. Piston engines have had 100 years to develope, they damn well better be the fastest ones on the track considering the rotary has 1/3 the time to develope as the piston. Yet somehow on a daily basis many piston engine get beaten by rotary engines and vise versa. So how about we compare a piston engine that was made in the 30's to a rotary engine made today since they will have the same time to develope hmmm?
