I used to think my cel phone was so cool. Now I hate it due to work. Especially the Nextell 2-way part. I am amazed at how rude people think they can be with them. I will be in a bank or a meeting w/ a client and my phone will keep beeping **beep** Jim are you there? **Beep** Jim, are you there? this will happen over and over again until I respond. One time I told the person calling me that I was in a meeting and they proceeded to start having their conversation over their world ending emergancy. I ended up turning off my phone on them.

I now hate my cel phone and turn it off at 5:00 every night. I never turn it on over the weekend.

I am considering getting a second phone just for friends and family so they can track me down.
yea i mainly switched my phone to get away from people i dont want talking to me, so i switched my number and everything, now i only tell specific people what my number is.

My ringtone is "Get Your Freak On", it was "Baby Got Back". Made for interesting looks when it went off during meetings.

I hate...HATE...walkie talkie phones. Like my dad says in one of his jokes "I didn't even want to hear the first half of the conversation, let alone the other half."

2ndGenY and I were walking around Sam's Club the other day and somebody was using one. I said to her: "You know what's cool about cell phones? You can use them like regular phones! </astonished>"

Theres this cool little button on the top of my phone that allows me to switch off the speaker and turn on the earpiece. This way I am using my 2-way like a regular phone. When I am in a store or soemwhere someone can overhear me I switch to that. I dont need people listening to my conversations. I also talk quiet - I hate people that talk 10x louder because they are on their cell phone.

I do leave my speaker on so I can hear the initial **beep** "Jim are you there?" then I switch it off.

I hate walkie talkie phones and LOVE them too. I cannot imagine running my business w/o them. I have been using them for over 3 years now and they totally replace the need for the archaic truck mounted 2-way radios. It used to be that only people w/ businesses had them.

When I first signed up for service I had to choose between a COnstruction band and Agriculture band. Kinda gives you and idea what their initial intention was all about. NO one imagined evey freaking housewife would have one.

we have that too, but the official ring tones you have to pay $1.99 for, there's an entire underground scene making use of the nextel USB and Serial data cables along with MAM which downloads/uploads java programs to nextel;'s via an open-air thingo.

ive fouind the loader program for the i7230, and found a bunch of ringtones and wallpapers, now i just have to go buy a data cable anhd im in business.

but im lazy.
