lol...got 15k I can borrow?
Ford Focus slow? Ha!! That is why one got me through 1st and 2nd gear the other night. But as soon as 3rd gear kicked, I was just rolling past, backfiring as I shifted. I then downshifted into 2nd gear, and gunned it. Backfires like hell, rpms kicked to 7.5k and let out another 2 or 3 backfires. He had a weird look on his face.
Why did you not buy the SVT version of the Focus? Those things are fast for being a Ford. Heh.

Have you considered some custom built deals. My 16"x9.5" Centerline rims cost me $1000 for all 4 built to my specs.
Try these places:

http://www.racing-stuff.com/panasport.htm
This is pushing the budget a bit but these are some sweet rims:

Anywho. How do I found out my width of the tire? They are 195 70R 14. I know the 14 is the size of the rim I think. And the R has nothing to do with the size of the tire. I am also wanting to go bigger width. And I can fit maybe, just maybe an extra inch, extra 1.5 inches if I really wanna push it. Would it be worth it? I wanna have better grip on the road too. Help a cracker out.
I also don't really care about the low profile tires. That is for lowriders and rap star suvs with millions of dollars. I am just clueless when it comes to this type of stuff.

195 is the width in MM i think.
70 is the sidewall hieght.
14 is the inside diameter.

So if you wanted more rubber you would want a 8" wide rim and then maybe some 245 tires or 225 tires.
On my Mini I ditched my 17x7 rims with run flats and put on a set of 16x7 rims with 225/50/16 Falken Azenas.
I am tired of this trend of 20" rims ans rubber band tires.
I went with the 16" rims and my car sits about 1" lower now adding to the handling of it.
If I were you I would shop for a set of 16x7 rims and get some nice 225/50/16 tires for them it will make you happy.

Yes so 195 = 7.5" roughly
