Well it looks like i may be in need of a right hand drive rig, was thinking a jeep cherokee or something, obviously getting one from japan would be a safe bet, does anyone know what this entails? Any sources you know of for importing jspec vehicles?

jspec cars are available, but registration is a little weird. the STATE has no problem registering the thing, and stock, they do pass smog if needed. the feds will have a problem with it if they get wind of it.

you can actually make the car federally legal, its more of an epensive paper shuffle than it is real work, and i'd suggest using a car that was available here, like the FC/FD cause the crash stuff and lights are the same.

Cause it's low miles and right hand drive, there's nothing in the US that I know of that is right hand drive. Jeep does make them, but i want somemthing used not brand new. That's why i was aking about r/h drive rigs, ie... are there any other sources besides jspec imports.

There's a dude on ebay that sells them, they are US spec rhd jeeps exported to japan, then after the 40k or wutever imported back to the US, so that would make sense.
