Yah I wanna know this too Srce.. I'm under the impression RIAA goes after people who traffic in and out alot of downloads... She must've been DLing a few CD's a day for them to Flag her.. casual users like me go under the radar.. I only get what sounds good and delete the rest..

The previous round of kids hit by the RIAA with lawsuits will appear in a Pepsi commercial for the super bowl, so I heard on the radio. Something about pepsi being part of a website that's offering free (legal) limited downloads, or something like that. Payment by pepsi-->pay of RIAA court fees-->pocket the rest

See, I have no idea how many songs she has. I have close to 4K and I never got anything from them. There's no way in hell she can have more then me or even a fourth of what I have. I already killed Lite on my sister's PC, I don't want her DLing any more till this bullshit passes.



They just sent her a letter I hear, my sis read it but didn't remember much of it. I'll get my hands on that letter in a day or two so we'll see what happened. It could just be some bullshit advertising for Virus protection or something, who knows?
