Well, just looked the the F1 website, went to the official USGP site from there and checked out ticket prices etc.

Race day is the 20th, sunday. Friday has practise sessions, saturday also has practice sessions plus Pre-Qualifying and qualifying.

So, tickets are 170 for two people for the seats I want, hotel is also 170 for those 3 days, gas for the weekend would be about 150 since we'll be going out and ****. Plus, gotta take the girl shopping in Indy, food, and F1 souvenirs would be another 500 or something.

Basically I'm looking at about ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for the whole weekend plus shitty *** Indiana scenery.

Is it worth it in your opinion?

Toronto is only CART, or whatever they call themselves this year. Still a hell of a show.

You mean Montreal.

Wouldn't that be taking $1,000 out of your "I want a third gen" fund?

Nah, I have plenty for the 3rd gen fund, this wouldn't be coming out of anywhere near that.

BTW, I've seen numerous GP's, I used to live in Germany so it's not that big of a deal. But, I haven't seen one in about 8 years so it would be nice to see these cars and what they can do.
