Agreed, and their also having real trouble selling them.

However, IF they were to bring out another, it would pretty much HAVE to be some kind of limited production banner vehicle like this one.

Ford sells about 400,000 explorers every year, never mind the others they sell

they have the best selling SUV in the market, never mind the best selling vehicle in the world- the F-series pick ups.

Exploder sales are down nearly 20% from this time last year. Trucks are down more than 10%. People are finally coming to their senses and not buying them to drive around empty in the suburbs.

First I was afraid, I was petrified,

Kept thinking I could never live, without you by my side,

But I spent so many nights, thinking how you did me wrong,

I grew strong, I learned how to carry on,

and so you're back, from outer space,

I just walked in to find you here, with that sad look upon your face,

I should have changed my stupid lock, I should have made you leave your key,

If I had known for just one second, you'd be back to bother me,

Remember the early 90s? There used to be a lot of sports cars.

The F series BARELY outsold GM trucks last year, despite being completely redesigned. The Explorer didn't outsell the Trailblazer by that much.

Remember GM sales are split between GMC and Chevy, but are counted seperately.

Ford isn't exactly know for breaking any design barriers. They'll make cool concepts but rarely bring them out.

SUVs are in the maturity of their product life, the fad of having them will die slowly, and from some marketing stuff I know they will probably bring out a bronco as companies stress brand name and such as a product is at maturity to try to distinguish it.

The suv market has just shifted. It is now in the "high class" sales of suvs from Lexus, Infinity, Mercedes, and other upper line brands have gone up. (I may be wrong, this is what i have read)

The reason fords sales have gone down is because people have finally realized that they really do suck. The new F series has so many problems that its not even funny....

And in other news...

Toyota recently surpassed ford to become the 2nd top selling motors company in the world.

It is now

#1 - General Motors

#2 - Toyota

#3 - Ford

This is international sales, not just in the US...

I was just lookin at the FJ40 dealy a few days ago.. and I really like it.. whats odd is that it says it is meant to be at a lower tier than the Rav 4... thats odd.. but hey.. more affordable = Win.. unless it does not perform to the bar set by the landcruiser Legacy..

and the bronco looks nice too.

you all seem to forget this is a thread about TOYOTA, not Ford

I like the FJ, I was making convo if Ford would bring back its Bronco in a response to the retro Toyota. I didnt mean for everyone to frantically google search Ford's sales from last year.

And sports cars are one of the only segments of the market that remain stable, changing little from year to year. They just dont make alot of money, SUVs make alot of money.

I think I hear someone typing away about to argue your small point about sports car sells.
