Be careful. Once you go black, you never go back. Paint can get pretty expensive!

Notice I took the plastic out of the front glass area. During the clear coat process paint from last night began to flake off and get into my clear coat. I could feel a heart attack coming on. Luckily after it hardened enough I could lightly brush it off and continue.


either use very expensive paintable plastic, or use paper where you paint, **** will always flake off the plastic, now lets hope the parts of the car you spray seperate match!

I wasnt going to comment on his poor choice of materials or trying to match panels technique. Everyone needs a few hard earned lessons in life!

I don't see why the parts I paint seperate wouldn't match. The hood matches in direct sunlight as do the doors and tailgate.
