it was midnight, roads were wide open.

Only reason I considered it is the guy I borrowed the trailer from used the same set up!

If you've got to rent the stuff to do it, you might be better off paying someone to haul it, rather than pay to rent the equipment and then deal with the headaches, should anything go awry.



I pulled the Chevy II back from about 4 hours away, but all I needed was a trailer, which I got from a small U-Haul operator. I think it cost 50-60 bucks total, plus gas at $3 a gallon!



It did take me all day, though, since I couldn't get the car started when I got there and basically had to push the car up onto the trailer. By myself. Ugh!

yeah! the r100 was loadable with 1 person, but it wieghs like 1500lbs....

takes goddamn forever but sometimes you just cant push a car up by yourself...

electric winches make it easy, especially when you trailer cars and tractors almost every weekend.
