rental cars suck

i need to rent a suv with a towing hitch , i call all my local rentals and none of then got one.

i was thinking putting one in it ...... they wont know it i need to get the 7 to north carolina

any suggestions ?

I don't think you can rent a car with a tow hitch.

I rented a trailblazer, you can pop the cover off the bumper and use the bumper hitch, I did it to tow a car from PA to NY.



the wiring is tucked up behind the bumper for the trailer lights.





if something happens though- look out.



if they even have that style bumper anymore?

yea bout they pricey , for the smalles truck they ask me $1500

and the cargo vans are local only ...... som im thinking renthing a trailer from them is only 60 bucks

and a suv rental nomore that $350.

just pay someone to do it, cant cost more then $600-$800 or so and they will be insured.



Remember those one way rentals are killer- they charge alot of money when you dont return to the same place you rented from.
