Can you put a remote engine starter in a manual car? Most cars I have driven require the clutch to be pushed in.

Discuss!

Hmmm, cool. I like the idea of letting the car warm up. Especially in the summer, just have the A/C set to lowest setting, and it is nice and cool when you get in the vehicle, and the vehicle is already warmed up.

^ it is the very truth. You can even knock down your aunt's fence when you go to start your cousin's car, which you had left in gear, which had a remote start made for an automatic hence no sensor on the shifter.

Do not ask me how I know this.

I never keep a manual in gear unless on a hill. It is stupid to do if you are on flat ground.

If you can put one on an auto, you can put one on a manual.

You can put remote start on Manual cars. I have a CompuStar alarm in my car, and when I read through the instal manual, it had a part on Remote start in a manual. Compustar has a set up where you pull up the e-break, release, then pull it up again to let the alarm know you want to have remote start enabled, that way you don't accidently hit the button while the car is in gear.
