So - My warranty (3 year extended I purchased with truck) was up in like 62 miles... So, I went and traded it in. Mind you, I haven't needed the 4WD or even the AWD thingy since I bought the ******* thing. It's been a headache. TERRIBLE gas, shitty american leather, little problems here and there... something you just shouldn't get with a 40K truck.

SO: I traded it in 2 days ago on a Black 05 hardtop 350Z.

Today? 3 inches of snow.

Haha!

Thats funny

I'm thinking about buying a newer (used) GMC duramax diesel dually. In school we talked about how the duramax is an isuzu diesel that uses a common rail injection system.

I don't know if the truck will be as reliable as my beater protege but at least I could get some work done

yea isuzu makes good diesels, its the tranny gm throws in with it that used to suck nuts (dunno if it still does) pretty much every diesel in the passenger car and truck industry CRD or a form there of, its by no means a new technology.

Timing, as they say, is everything.

the allison trannies in the gm duramax is ok as long as you keep the truck somewhat stock. they get great fuel milage though. but the duramax motors are problematic. i worked for a chevy dealer for a while and though the shop was a small place we did see alot of broken down duramax trucks. i would , if your lookin for a HD truck , look into the dodge or the ( o man i cannot believe im saying this) ford super duty twin turbo.

None of which I possess. Go figure. Oh well, it didn't do too bad in the snow. Relatively easy to control.

Throw some Blizzaks on it and go to town...or somewhere else. Which trim did you get?

Funny - I'm actually looking at a set of wheels with those mounted. 400 for the set.

Trim? We talkin ***** here?

I have no clue. It has NOTHING. just the way I like it! No power seats, no leather, no bose... it's base like my F-Dizzle was.
