Haha, awesome.
We usually try to melt a couple empties. We'll have a nice, hot bonfire going, and slide in a bottle. The hard part is keeping it from cracking, heat it too fast and it shatters, and taking it out if it cools to fast it shatters. I wish I had pics, it's pretty neat.

well you need 3 people at least, 4 is good.
Wrap duct tape around the bottle a few times with the edge at the level where you want to cut off the bottle. We use Sleemans bottles, as they have nice raised lettering on the glass and look nice.
Take several feet of heavy string and wrap it around the bottle a couple times against the edge you made with the tape. Tie a loop in both ends of the string. Two of your drunken teammates grab hold of the string loops and saw back and forth with the string until the bottle gets good and hot where the string is.
person number 3 takes the bottle and immediately plunges it into a sink full of cold water. Bottle should crack cleanly where the string was. If not, hand back to the guys with the string and tell them to try harder.
Person 4 sands the sharp edges of the juice glass and removes the tape.
Only takes a few minutes each once you get the hang of it.
