have you heard of a "death pool?" there are some guys on a radio station here that make a list of people they think will die at the beginning of the year, and they bet money on it. we should do that.

In all seriousness it's pretty wild that two such prominent people died recently...not only prominent, but really outstandingly good people. I mean Ronnie Rea did away with the cold war and Ray Charles could play the blues like no other - and was friggin blind! Seems like there's very few really good leaders around anymore... I mean, who's in the spotlight that we can really look up to? Only person I can think of is Mel Gibson...and he's a right wing nutcase!
