I just heard on the radio that a bunch of rats in Melbourne, Australia have gotten a taste for wiring. Apparently they are eating through car wiring and battery boxes. It was on the 'weird news' section of the local radio.



Any of the guys/gals from around there heard of this?

 

****, that happens all the time. For some weird reason, they like the taste the alternator wire boot on FD's. Ive seen many with nibble marks through them.

 

I had to fix the wiring loom in one of my company trucks yesterday! There was a cozy little nest in the engine compartment and the little bastards had chomped on 14 wires in the loom and chewed through two plug wires! I need a boatload of rat poison!
