OR do something that you like, that is not part of "A LOOK"

My 67 bug, back in 81-82, had a Orange-peel crapco paint job, Stinger exhaust and lots of crap.

I'd prefer the rat-look, because I'm a supporter of sleepers, and it looks like you'd save a lot of money on appearance, that you could put into go-fast goodies.

My first reaction was "DO NOT PUT A ROTARY ENGINE INTO A SPLIT YOU FOOL!" But that was just a picture. Splits are rare, keep it stock.

Otherwise I like the cal look with hawian rubber (white) with pop outs in the rear. Keep the deck lid flat, the standoffs don't do **** for cooling if the motor is stock and in fact can hurt things. Phoenix Tuck ups for mufflers, NO LOUVERS. I also loathe empi rims, hate them hate em hatem HATE them

Don't slam it, give it a slight rake.

Of those it's hard to say. I like the split window, but it should be restored. Don't like the Cal look, looks like every other bug set up that way plus the guy obviously doesn't know diddly about suspension on a bug. German look is OK, needs fenders.

Now I miss my bug.

63 Ragtop, mostly restored before I sold it. THen there was the 68 I convereted from an Autostick (BLEH!). Or the 73 Fastback, kept the fuel injection running amazingly enough. Or the 69, it was a nice beater. Hated the 71 horrid thing. Hated my dad's 67 Bus. Totally EVIL.

Also had a 73 Squareback.

Man I miss VW's. Now I should go find one...no wait I'm over that ...MUST..STAY...AWAY!

man if i found a split or an oval for cheap i wouldnt dare put a rotary in it. i dont think id do much of anything to them other than restoring it.

i thought about mixing thw two together, then decvided against it because it would look really weird.
