It comes by every night to eat cat food off my back counter.

I have tried locking it out for a week. (It comes through the cat door) I have tried decorating it with the paint ball gun. Shy of killing it, it will not stay away.

I think I am gonna make a "Raccoon feeder" in my backyard for it.

The flash bounced off my window but you can see him moving in on the cat food. He is perched on the lawn chair in the patio.

Is that right in the house, or do you have an enclosed porch?

Be pretty funny to wake up one night and he's sitting on your chest.

No thats the back screen porch. After the hurricanes we had the back sliding glass door open on our bedroom and 2 raccoons tried to come in the house. I had to put a 4x8 piece of plywood in front of the door.

I had one as a pet once...well an ex-girlfriend of mine did. I wouldn't put the food out, that will just cause more to come by. A fairly nice size dog will cure the problem you are having.

The lady I bought the pickup from has several racoons that come by her place and are like tame pets. She has sent me pics of them in her house hanging out like one of the family. Then they just go off into the woods and come back whenever they feel like hanging out I guess.
