Okay, this is from teh Opie-head, haha.

Eric Happy Meal: i found a drag rx3 for sale, it was made solely for the track, so itd be kinda hard to drive it on the street. its completely built up, has 4 link suspension, coilovers in the rear, turbo 2 tranny, i think he said he had a ford driveshaft, shortened 9" rear end. quick release steering wheel, centerlocks, wiring harness intact, its not registered for the street but he said that if he drives it on the street he cant get written up for anything doing it, has a fuel cell, has other stuff too but i cant really rememebr all that was said (we were on the phone for probably 5 minutes or so). he said he got a 1.367 as a 60 foot best, didnt hear what engine he was using for it tho. But the only problem with the car is that it doesnt have an engine in it. And, i kind of wanted to get an old one that i could drive regularly...but all of this for $2800 seems like a damn good deal to me. what would you guys do?

Can anybody help him out here?

he can get written up for driving without a registration.

then the car gets confiscated and you can face loss of license after repeated incidents.

he said he had all the work done properly and at a shop. hes selling the car because he has too many.

he had an EFI TII setup, but his friend was selling his SCCA RX-3 so hes putting al the engine and stuff into that car instead, which is why it doesnt have an engine.

Try a better topic title next time, atleast along the lines of what you are talking about.

Well theyre working on legislation to make a sound booth part of car registration and inspection in which any car over 95db from idle -> 3000rpms or something would be found illegal for street use. some **** like that, it was in SCC.
