OS Giken is not made by Quarter master. they are simliar clutches, but differ in design. The Engineer who designs the Quarter Master clutches had never even heard of OS Giken before.

then howd he know your flywheel would mate to their clutch? and how did you tell him what clutch you have without him hearing the words os giken?

Damn man.. chill.. wasnt trying to say your info is bad.. just think about it this way.. some guy trying to prmote his company comes in here.. posts a story like yours.. and trust me I've never seen a "story" like that.. sounds like an advertisement... so he's only got a couple of post.

now someone with a few more posts.. says he had a nice encounter with a cmpany.. i'd be more likely to belive him. thats all im saying..

it only says OS Giken on the pressure plate. and I told him it was an OS Giken when he asked me. " what kind of clutch is this?". they knew it would work because they brought their clutch out and matched them up, and they were similar. the OS Giken used a different flywheel step than the quarter master, and the bolt holes were all different. They measured, thats how they knew it would fit.

it was not an advertisement. it was meant to HELP all of you if you were looking for a similar clutch setup or, if you had a burned up OS Giken and didn't feel like waiting the time and spending the money to get replacement parts from Japan. I am NOT in any way shape or form involved with this company, other than I am a very happy customer. and I have more than 3 posts, Vosko informed me that it doesn't count if you post in Gen D. most of my posts are in Gen d. sheesh, this is the kind of stuff I would expect from the RX7 board, not here. This type of resistance just makes me want to keep everything I know to myself, ( and I do know A LOT). If number of posts is what you all go by to gauge a persons knowledge and credibility, you guys could be missing out on some good info.
