1080i on GT4 is the same resolution as 1080p but p uses progressive scan as opposed to interlaced scanning.

Xbox 360 supports 1080p as well. Whoopie.
We shall see, MS allready has all the major developers on their side, a huge jump on Sony, a system that's a billion times easier to develop for among other things. Plus live is here, works now and works flawlessly.
