Ok, I want to get the modification thing, the one where I dont have to solder it in, then I can burn my own games and play them on my PS2 right?

This chip the one I need? Scroll down past the XBOX stuff where it says PS2 obviously

Mod chips

I'm not really into copying games for the PS2, but with that one, as far as I can tell you have to boot the PS2 with some disk in it, then swap in the game you want play? Seems liek a pain in the *** to me.

I hear that, but im not into soldering, plus once its soldered in it cant be taken out. Sounds like a pain, but its better then $50 a game isnt it?

Same here, $5-$10, closest ones are like 20-30 minutes away, easier to just pay the $25 and not leave my house at that point.

Thats what im afraid of, lol

This 300MHZ PII is starting to wear on me, I have it set up nice, and it does what I need it to do, I have the other 750 AMD right next to me, but I bought that for my GF last Feb so she has her own computer when I want to be on mine.
