SOCOM is one of the best games for the PS2 out. SOCOM2 should be released shortly. Make sure you have the network adapter, the game is best played online.

 

Yea I got GT3 and socom was good, but i dunno that I would buy it,when is 2 out?

 

SOCOM2 comes out next month, GameStop has demo disks available. You haven't played SOCOM until you've played online, I have played it in single player mode maybe 3 times total to figure out the controls.

You could give Tenchu:The Wrath of Heaven a try. Its kinda like Metal Gear, but your a ninja. Kill scenes are the ****. Its cheap, too. Like $30. And its not easy...

sony sent my roomate the beta online version like a month ago and he hasnt stopped playing it.
