well if you're willing to come down to south florida there's about 5-6 races(import races that is) at moroso motorsports park in a year. other than that we have some solo racing down in miami every month. we also have homestead speedway which allows the track to be rented out by clubs and used for the day when theres not an event going on. and finally we got some really kick ***( when i say kick *** i mean vipers with nos, supras putting down 700+ hp and rx7 on slicks on the street) street races every tuesday, thursday, and saturday night starting about 11 pm till about 2-3 am depending on the police

that sounds like fun. would you believe i aint never been to a street race. but i doubt id find anything but hondas up here.

Well i just bumped into a guy with a 85 GSLSE thats hes parting out..and im getting **** I need...



power window set up......glasstop..swaybars...hopefully he will stop bullshitting me and come off the rear end.....



Also you guys was talking about street races and other races in FL in Tampa theres always import street races on the weekend....and theres a track in Lakeland called Lakeland drag strip...where you will always see the best rotaries from central Florida there.and of course Tampa has the world fastest bug from Fisher Buggies always at the track....



there has also been the best from Puerto Rico here...at 4cyl/rotary shootouts....



like Raphilito racing ..and others I cant remeber right now....



also across the bay theres Sunshine speed way which is a 1/4 mile track ..and Lakeland is an 1/8 track..

true, but i figured since this is a rotary forum...

I just want to see fast cars. Like, if there was an event that pitted american vs imports that would be sweet. But, i meant mostly rotaries. We got this huge race up here, PanAm's, but they get too crowded.

As far as bugs. Im saving that trip for cali. I hear theres a show/race where in order for you to place in your category your car not only has to look good, but perform well on the track. Sorry, no trailer queens.

yes ...here in FL @ Lakeland drag there has been USA vs PUERTO RICO in rotaries and 4cyls and i have to say PR do kick some *** ,,i need to get my dam movies on the comp so i can show them.

Is the race there like over here. They advertise it as USA vs PR, but 90% of all racers/spectators are puertoricans?

Well you missed the ROLEX this year (last weekend- It was awesome) But the 12 hours of Sebring is coming up around the corner. The track is in the middle of nowhere so don't expect any other excitment than the race (and you can't forget the after race festivities- It gets maaaaad crazy after that race in the middle of the night)

yeah theres races like USA vs PR and i do have to admit theres some bad *** rotarys coming from PR to race here in the states....and its mostly 99.9% latin ...its still fun .and nothing better to see latin girls in short ,shorts
