I did this back in the day on the weekend of my 21st birthday. Instead of beer though, I used Jack Daniels. Got to 48 mins and all but about 2 shots left in a 5th of JD. Passed out. Hurt REAL bad the next day/night/next day after that......

We used to do this in college, except we called it the century club. A shot of beer every minute on the minute for 100 minutes.
