i wonder how that would work, like one of those tailgating gimmicks where you cook on your engine block, but instead of hotdogs you throw a tea kettle on there. blow off valve has nothing on a tea kettle squeal.

yea, we were all referring to the fact that the topic makes it seem like no ones ever made power from water, when we know steam was quite popular.

kevin.
Technically no one made power from water then either, they added energy to it and harnessed it through steam.

Actually, the link refers to the decomposition of water into its Hydrogen and Oxygen components by passing an electric current through it. Hardly the same as heating water to make steam. Some of you may remember this from 6th grade science class. Some of you may cover this next year.

I read the link before hand. Wasn't trying to burn anyone, just making a comment about the utilization of water in the SHV form to generate electricity or provide work. Since we are being so PC here today.

Don't call me PC. "Political correctness" is the wrong-headed notion behind at least half of what is wrong with this country.

I do try to be SC however. "Scientifically correct."

I'm not sure either, but I do know it has something to do with urinating on a cat.

i tried to get the cat to turn my urine into steam so i could power my house...

guess i didnt preheat the cat to 85 degrees first.
