On the Kelmark/TurboII:
I had it on the road this summer, but after 200 miles the transaxle went bad. I had to pull the engine and send the transaxle to the company that built it(last week.) I'm now waiting to hear what went wrong with it.(with almost $2000. in trans and related parts, I sure hope the company stands by their work.)
I still have to finish off the interior(heater, radio, etc) and while the engine is out I'm going to redo my intake system (air filter, intercooler, etc.) In the middle of summer when it was hot I wasn't getting enough cold air to the intercooler and air filter, so I'm going to put them under the car where they can get cooler air. The engine temps were OK when I was just driving, but when I kicked in the turbo the water temp(and intake temps) went way up.
I've only taken the car to half throttle, but in first and second gear it wants to bring the front wheels off of the ground! Its very scary to drive and I have to keep on top of it all of the time (1800lb and 250+hp makes for a very squirrelly car!)
