Yeah, that was fuel only. Not counting the $40 in jacks / stands or the $20+ for fix-its.
I made it home with $6 in my wallet, and $13 in my checking account. Ed made it to Ames with $1 in his wallet, and leftover toll change. Crazy.

back and forth to jersey 4 times, 100 miles each way
and the tolls as well, but it was worth it
tolls are $13 each trip, times 4=$52, plus gas
new Mazda 6 got a whopping 18.5 mpg way to go Mazda when
my 1988 RX7 got 20+mpg, and my Lexus got 23 mpg on the last tank full.
