Possible New Daily Driver?
#1
As you can see it has all kinds of **** done to it.
As it sits now (some of these will be removed to use in my tII, hence my purchase of the car)
Cusco strut bars, front and rear, as well as cusco triangle rear bar
ground control 2.5" coil over kit
racing beat sway bar front
4 channel (4 foggers, plumbed into intake runners) direct port nitrous 50 shot installed presently.
short shifter,
s-afc
efan, cold air intake
racing beat header and presilencer, corksport catback (loudest car on the planet right now)
as shown it has mustang 17" rims, and dot racing hoosiers
a decent amount of miles (don't ever remember) but it has been taken car or for the most part.
needs a proper sized battery for street driving, that's pretty much it. It has cold a/c and p/s. just throw some 87 octane and a lil premix and go. (i love the simplicity of a n/a.)
this car handles like a dream, and has been complimented by a its rx7 race car driver (open track day at moroso speedway) as the best handling 2nd gen he has driven/ridden in. "it doesn't make any mistakes"
the only reason that I'd even consider selling it is because of money. I don't need two investments right now. and insurance on two rx7's (when I can only drive one) would suck. I'll check with my insurance agent and see if she can hook me up.
I know a lot of you guys have 3rd gens, and 2nd gens for daily drivers, how does that work out for you?? do you wish you would've gotten a lesser maintenance vehicle??
I also can get ahold of a older toyota truck that isn't in the best shape, but is almost gauranteed to run for a while. Cool factor is non-existant with that tho.
sidenote: I pulled out of this guys driveway just putting on the car, and not 15 seconds later a red civic hatchback pulls up next to me asking "turbo??" I said, naaa, that one is at home. He then informed me that his car was turbo!! man I can't wait to find that guy when my tII is in action!!

race car or street car?? can't tell by this shot
For the record the car has been setting for about 3 months so it needs a good shining and a vaccum.
i have the strut tower tops w/ speakers in the passenger seat

The tires a slicks not D.O.T. approved FYI
Stuff your swapping onto your 10th
Corksport Cat-back $300
Coil Overs $240 fro the springs (just got mine they cost $60 each x 4)
Front Camber Plates from Mazdatrix - $260
Rims w/ Kick *** slicks - $300 rims $500 slicks = $800
Nos Kit (you know you want it on your TII!!) - $500
So lets see what we have here - $2100 worth of stuff off of a car you paid what? $2K for?
No matter what you do you win.

ya I kinda feel bad, that's why I'm thinking about keeping it, this thing was pieced together right, not many cars can have that said for them. Maybe I'll throw a 500 dollar macco job, and just go with it. Tune it lean, and hop on the interstate for ky.
He didn't give me the nos bottle yet, but I haven't forgotten. He's bringin the konigs over tomorrow with the cat-back. check your pm.
