porsche 959 question

Not sure if anybody knows this but I'm a little confused as to what this is...there are 2 caps, one for gas, and one for what?

There are actually 3 caps...both sides of the car have one.

I found out the rear is an oil filler door. The front is the gas tank, obviously. Porsche only did this for a short time before moving it under the lid because gas station attendants were putting gas in the oil filler.
