it seems silly to me that i pay several thousands of dollars for an education, but once I get into class they say read x hundred pages out of this book and I'll go over the homework... Today a student in one of the classes I teach at a college here said that he complained about our textbook to both the dean and the publisher. He did this because of a problem that used an equation for determining the life expectancy of white males and females. They actually took it seriously too!
