There are no major restrictions, x-rated posts, posts that are reported to a moderator or are deemed offensive may be moved to the "X-Rated" forum at the discression of the Nopistons.com staff.
Flame Wars will be moved their is well, however a constant flaming or attacking of a member is considered a personal attack. Personal attacks of fellow members, threats, etc... will not be tollerated, Nopistons should be a place where all can be welcome, have a good time free of harrassment. Nopistons.com does not censor links, site suggestions or vendor complaints... you are responsible for what you post in all sections of the forum and Nopistons.com will in no way be liable.
The forum Private Message system is used for contacting specific members... posts directed at only one member that have no importance to the rest of the forum members will be deleted.
New policy, members who continually cause trouble in this area or are simply unable to be civil will be banned PERMANENTLY from the general discussion forums

I'ma take this time out to do a little buttkissing and say that Phins: You=Rock!
Soon as I prove myself, my honor, and my promise to the ring of Mordor...and buy an FD...I will be donating up the wazoo and will/would love to be a moderator or a help of any kind.
Until then, there are orc's (ork's?) to take care of!

I wasn't thinking/saying that should be the case...heck...srce is a moderator right? :P
I just feel I should really own an FD before I dedicate more time and even money to the forum. Sometimes my car interests change like the wind...I think Rotary pwns me for life though...but I said that about Supra's over a year ago. That lasted 2-3 years too!
And the whole moderator idea, I had always wanted to do, just gotta spread myself around for a while

There are some non-rx7 owner mods, however they are not usually in areas where knowledge of rx-7's is necessary.
There is a lot more to being a moderator then just owning an rx7. First and formost you gotta be on the forum A LOT, spend a lot of time here and be helpful to other members whenever possible.
Then there's a handful of other factors including passing the admin's rigorous screening LOL
The pre-requisite to be nominated by another moderator is no longer in existance. Jon and I make ALL of the decisions regarding new moderators.

can we make another rule.....for the forum....
that threads will not just close or be deleted or such without contacting the starter or problem maker, unless the thing in question is VERY against the forum rules
