Tyson, um, there is a very good reason. Go talk to a family member of a victim of 9-11 and see just how bad they want another attack on American soil. People have completely lost sight of past events.
oh and your little oil comment, I bet you also complaining about oil prices. Wouldin't it be great to have a better oil supply so gas prices would come back down. The WHOLE economy would be helped.

Hussein was not involved with 9/11!!
Bush has been riding that since it happened! Unfortunately for those affected (and its not just people in the US) there have been other issues involved with running a country that have happened in the meantime that need attention, and they've been ignored!
Your own media is afraid to do anything that might upset the administration since it happened or risk being branded "UnAmerican". With how easy patriotism plays in the US it works like a charm to keep anyone that relies on the public for their livelyhood in line.
Bush and his friends make hundreds of millions off oil. I've always laughed at 'conspiracy theory' people, but now some of what they say seems to ring true. As they say, even the poorest millionaire on his cabinet has an OIL TANKER named after her.
Hussien killed 10,000 Kurds with chemical weapons provided by Donald Rumsfeld. After he used them, there is still video footage of Rumsfeld shaking his hand.
Please don't tell me you think getting his oil now is a better reason than that for removing him.
Why is this anti-terrorist bill called the "Patriot Act" and not something to do with terrorism?

I have no idea why they chose the name, and I never said that they should remove sudam to get oil. Sadam was removed to prevent him from starting another 9/11 type event. Being that he was up in age, and knowing that he isn't going to be around much longer, there is no telling what he might have tried if he'd have stayed.

Presidential Election coverage will guaranteed have more people watching it than when we had our own Elections. Seriously, I just want to see something other than a whiney white balding texan filling the screen everytime i flip the channel.

Putting the Bush and democrat thing aside, no one can't say that Saddam didn't have anything to do with 9/11 because he could've, maybe not directly but financially which is still just as bad. Saddam was another Bin Laden, waiting to explode if we didn't do anything about it. Inspectors went he said **** Off, they went again, he said **** Off, it was a ******* game to him. I was active duty in the Marine Corps in those years and I was in the first Gulf war, you have to hear how MOST ( i said most not all ) those people bad mouthed us, even the Kuwaities when I went back a year and a half after we helped them. Hey, nobody gives a crap about us, even if we help them, becasue its gotten to the point that it's what they expect from us.

My 2 cents...
I think that it is nearly impossible to get an unbiased opinion about politics. Who said what and where he said it about what person and event, the vast majority of that stuff is contorted based on what party is talking about it.
I personaly think that to get the clearest, most neutral view is to go talk to somebody from another country. Because that person wont be affected by the internal affairs of our country.
There have been worse things that have happened in history than 9/11. To say we have lost sight of past events is to think that we arent doing anything at all. my take is that we havent done the right things. Yea we went after Afganistan but we didnt get Bin Ladin. So we went into Iraq so Bush can say well I didnt get bin ladin but I got Sudam.
