I'm back in dis bitch. After getting into BIOS the second time, I went to the boot menu and my HDD was listed under the bootable HD's list (kinda, I don't know how to explain it). After I selected it and exited BIOS with saving the settings, PC booted just fine.

I got an error message right away as soon as I logged into my desktop saying that my video card adapter was fucked or something. So, I switched to anotehr adapter and now everything is back to normal.

I haven't checked for lost data (Will do in a minute), but I'm confident that everything will be there. As soon as Ive confirmed that nothing's missing, I'm putting everything on the new HDD.

Thanks for the help and suggestions, esspecially Scotty and pang.

when you hear the clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk etc coming from the drive, it's usually very bad news.

HAHA, yeah I know what you mean. But I'm not exactly sure it was the HD. I have to find out what device is in the place the noise came from, then we'll know what's up. If I can't find out what happened, I might not be able to save it from happening again. I got the Video Card Error right after the OS started up, so when I switched to another Driver, everything was fine. Tonight (20 minutes ago) was the second time I started her up after the initial start lsat night and nothing went wrong. I'm going to get Driver Updates for everything I can think of after I get all my data onto the USB HD just to make sure I have all new stuff on here. (that was a long and errorous sentence)

I was also thinking of doing a complete system restore after I get all my **** off. I'll probably end up doing that since I want all the spyware and adware off the Comp ASAP. I'll have to save my favorite places and all of that crap from the internet before I do it though. I'm just worried that when I do the restore, I'll **** soemthing up on the PPPoE install and won't be able to get on the internet for a while.

I guess I'll have to take my time and just get it over with. I'll have to assign IP's to both of my networke PC's again and everything is so ******* complicated that I might as well just go wireless and **** all the cables and ****. Any ideas on the wireless stuff pang?
