option 2 isn't really an option. i've never been to drunk to IM someone, in fact, i usually start IMing random people (girls) on my buddy list. these are usually the girls that i no longer talk to, but want to talk to when i'm drunk. so i do, and absolutely nothing good comes of it, and they usually ask "have you been drinking?" hey, it's not as bad as random phone calls, although i've done that too.
