My wife is from Thailand and its amazing! White people want to be brown and brown people want to be white(not all, but a lot) In Thailand its very bad to be dark, as it shows that you have no education and must work in the fields(sun) all day. You go to a beach and all the white people are out in the sun and all the Thai's are under the trees(where its cool and you won't end up looking like a prune when your thirty years old.) The women use a thing called demelinizing cream to make themselves whiter(M.Jackson where are you?)

The worst sun burn I ever got was on an island called Diago Garcia in the indian ocean. I'd been working in the engine room of a 800ft ship and hadn't gotten a lot of sun. New years day I took a day off and went to a beach (tropical island paradise, but a navy base.) Since it was a government island, beer was 75 cents a bottle(imported beer, not american belly wash!), and I proceded to get my monies worth on the beer. Next day my skin came off in sheets and red does not discribe the color. Worst part is a I had to go back to work in a 130 degree engine room with a terminal hangedover and lot less skin(sunburn from hell!)
