Thumbs down

Just imaging same set up on all of the engines..

Hard street port

Turbo on carb set up blow in through the top.

I wanted to know if the 6 port without sleaves had an advantage stock compression rotors...

or go with the

GSLSE housings on 12a 4 port plates TII low compression rotors

or the

stock 12a compression rotors

all these will be a carb set up...

I pickedthe 13b set up but i would use the 85 rotors cause those give you higher compression in the low end

something that comes in handy for drag. But if you want more top end compression keep the TII rotors.

I don't know, I'm a 13b fan but 4 port??? Go with a 6 port deal with the electronic actuator deal.

I totally agree with you on the Turbo. I say 4 port cause its smoother than 6 port when the fuel goes into a 6 port it hits the wall of the plate while in a 4 port it just goes in directly smoothly. You have to remeber that when Mazda madethe 6 port it was made for more fuel economy. But you might be right it could work better with the actuator. You wont know till you try it. :bigthumg:

I took the sleeves out of my motor and its pretty much stock

works good you don't have to wait for the ports to open up

The Gsl-se turboed with TII rotors and housings would yield the most power i think. U could easily crank up boost and not have to be an excellent tuner. If u turbo'd the other motors with high comp. it would be hard to tune.

Im thinking this will be the best deal for my pocket also..cuase I have a spare 12a I can port the plates...then get the SE housings port the exhast....get a 13b shaft I know where to one either out of the engine for $50. or buy this 86 n/a and part it out..

The 89+ tII rotors will be kinda hard..BUT I think this is a nice start for an engine...

I think the 4 port with the old plates with the SE housings will be good..

Thanks to j9fd3s...
