Your GFX card should not have ANYTHING to do with your hard drive...

You will have to do a repair off the xp disk though right? I reformatted when I got my new MB. I read that if the chipsets are different then it wouldnt work right.

If you're running Windows XP and you get a different mother board, you will need to format or else there is a very good chance your hard drive won't boot up. Only option is to buy another hard drive and set that up as your master drive with XP and keep your current as a slave drive, or get on a friends computer and set your current drive as a slave just to burn what you can on a cd then format the drive when youre done and reinstall XP.
