Interesting. 'Round these parts, all you get is plastic unless you ask for paper. As to which is the superior bag, the answer is definitely paper. Set a bunch of those slippery plastic crap-bags in your trunk and drive home. Nothing is left in the bags. Your groceries are all over your trunk. What the **** good are they? Gimme paper!

The plastic ones do come in handy when its time to scoop the kitty litter box though.

see my preference is to double the whammy against these damn hippy creatures.

I get my PAPER BAGS INSIDE DOUBLE PLASTIC BAGS. thats right folks, 3 whole bags are used as just a single bag. Its great, and *almost* unbreakable.

girlpowerrx7 - glad i made ya laugh, i dont have a problem with kangaroos, i just think the hippies want us to become them. those crazy hippies them.

lol anyway back to making pancakes i go.

When you put them in the trunk/boot of the car, why don't you tie the handles together and like that, nothing gets out.

That would significantly reduce the carrying capacity of the bags, and the baggers at the grocery store don't take the time, so I would have to do it myself. I'd rather get paper.

I don't care, I take what they give me, if they ask, I'll do something smartass and say "I'm paying with cash."
