you know a few of those paintjobs almost look like the Mystic that Ford painted the Cobra's... you know the Mustangs that changed color. Kind of cool for a factory paint job....

The Mustangs used BASF's paint for those schemes.
Winger, I bought my car painted like this from a guy who got the paint for really cheap, so I didn't feel the cost, but it's usually in the neighborhood of 5 grand for a whole car. I'll know soon enough...mine needs a repaint. |
YIKES!!! :(

I need new fenders, a new hood (mine is steel), a new sunroof, rust on the doors and quarter panels fixed, and a new floor pan. Is that part of the $500 deal? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Actually, when I am ready to get it painted, I am going to call the guy I bought it from and see if I can get more paint for cheap....he has a good relationship with BASF. |

LMAO...you forgot the gold, red, orange, aqua, and a few other colors that I have. Actually, I think one of the companies that makes touch-up paint makes a colorshifting version...I'll have to check it out.

Gotta love city water. The water here is so hard it leaves white spots all over the car.
