okay...wanna know what sucks?...other car forums...nopistons.com is the only cool forum I've found. Also, the people on foci forums don't know **** and are ********.

this is part of a thread with me requesting pictures of cars that have short throw shifters

BrandonDrecksage

....i'm not asking which one is better/shorter/redisgned.....I have not seen a thread that actually shows them in the cars, I just want to see pics of them installed in the car...like ~04~SVT~....thanks for the pic and giving me an idea of what it looks like

What is your objective here ?

You want stock height and want reverse lockout. You're not going to find anything close to stock height except for the stock shifter.

Steeda and other aftermarket shifters will lower the shifter by 1 inch or more.

BrandonDrecksage

hey douche, if you don't have anything to add, then don't post. I jsut want to see the different short throw shifters in the cars because...personally I think when a shift **** is in a boot..it looks ******g ricey...this site ******g pisses me off...i ask one simple question and 99% of the anwsers are from smart asses that aren't helping anything. Not saying I don't appreciate the help from the peple trying to help me (ZX3_Chick, Jumpnheadwall, ~04~SVT~)

Take a chill pill little man.

My post was in no way posting b u l l s h i t.

I asked what is your objective ?

Do you know what that word means ?

I was trying to get a specific answer from you to see what exactly you wanted to hopefully provide you some more detailed info.

You posted liked you wanted to find an aftermarket shifter about the same height as the stock and I posted that you won't find an aftermarket shifter that high.

Also, pictures of a short shifter doesn't really give an accurate representation of the height because it all depends on the angle the pic was taken and what was used for reference for height in the picture.

Anyway, I'll stay will from your immature name calling and **** poor attitude and leave you to your subjective question to be answered.

my second rant of the day. okay, I admit that I probably went off on this guy a lil too much, but its built up over time with me reading from that forum. U ask a technical question and you get a bunch of douches who probably do not even own a focus trying to anwser your question with the wrong anwser. you guys should have read the thread about "what is heel toe downshifting"...not to mention some kid saying that a exhaust isn't a good upgrade because the focus has one fo the best exhaust ever made.

...now...do you guys understand what I was asking for?...maybe I was being unclear/irrational.....thanks

this forum is by far the best ive ever been on, any other forum just simply says to read the FAQ instead of the member actually posting. and on a DSM forum i went to once, they had a set of rules, and one of the rules was that you COULDNT in anyway ask someone what rubo you should be using. i mean, what the **** is that **** about!?

....so what is your objective by posting this? You know that you'll never find the answer you're looking for here. Oh by the way I don't have any pictures of aftermarket shifters in the car like you asked for, but I can tell you that if I did they wouldn't help you because the way light bounces of aluminum and leather and the alignment of the earth relative to the Milky Way would create an optical illusion where the shifter should be. Hope this helps!

Do you want a shifer like mine???

I think that nopistons and the vintagerotaries forum is very helpful. Some people will say there is a FAQ about such and such on this forum, but it gets to be an annoyance sometimes to some people. Does not really bother me much when questions are repeated.

Unlike the evil forum, they tell you to search. So you go search for short shifter. Then you come up with 1000 pages of bullshit to sort through, containing things like I "Shifted to early and did not go fast as I wanted to". Or it will come up with "Oh my god, I fucked a short chick". I ****** hate that ****.

At least here my questions are asked. Especially 1gendreemer, thanks for your help. Appreciated, but the car still ain't running.

If short shifter's were called midget shifters, I would've said "Fucked a midget".

For some reason it does not want to let me post a picture. Let me try one more time. See how bad you got it made compared to my shifter.
